The Southwestern Paso Fino Horse Association (SWPFHA) was organized in October, 1985 for the purpose of Promoting the Paso Fino horse in the Southwestern portion of the U.S., particularly in Texas, Louisiana and the adjacent states.
SWPFHA, is the official regional affiliate of the national Paso Fino Horse Association and represents over three hundred voting members of the PFHA and the Southwestern region is the fifth largest of the affiliated regional organizations.
